Edinburgh have announced the signing Ireland A and Ulster winger Andrew Maxwell on a two-year deal subject a medical.
Maxwell played in the Churchill Cup for Ireland A, and represented Ireland in the Rugby World Cup Sevens in Hong Kong in 2005.
He joins from Ulster where he scored 17 tries in 40 matches, the first and last of his tries and appearances against the Irish province were against Edinburgh.
