Aimee Barrett-Theron has been given the honour of taking charge of the opening match of the 2019 Women’s Six Nations Championship.
The South African referee will oversee the opener between Ireland and England at Energia Park on February 1.
She will also be in the middle for the Italy against Wales in Lecce for round two.
Rebecca Mahoney (NZRU) is the only other referee appearing twice during the Championship, as the New Zealander takes charge of Scotland against Wales in round four and Italy hosting France in the final match of the competition.
Nikki O’Donnell (RFU) and Sean Gallagher (IRFU) will both take charge of a game on the opening weekend, overseeing Scotland against Italy and France versus Wales respectively.
Tim Baker (HKRU) gets the call up for one of the Championship’s biggest matches as England host France at Castle Park in Doncaster on the second weekend, with Beatrice Benvenuti (FIR) taking charge of Scotland against Ireland.
Sara Cox, who became the first female referee to oversee a Premiership Rugby match earlier this season, will have the whistle for the clash between France and Scotland in Lille during round three.
Meanwhile former Ireland women’s star Joy Neville will be in the middle for England against Scotland at Twickenham Stadium on the final weekend.
