Eddie Jones has named his Brave Blossoms side for English clash

Japan head to the Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, to face an England side keen to make a statement after a disappointing Autumn Nations Series.

Eddie Jones has made three changes to the starting XV that lost heavily to France a fortnight ago. He has also made five changes to the bench for the Allianz clash against his old team, England.

The front row remains unchanged from the side that faced France. Takato Okabe and Shuhei Takeuchi are named as the starting props, while Mamoru Harada retains his spot as the starting hooker.

There is one change in the second row, with Sanaila Waqa replacing Warner Dearns. He will partner Epineri Uluiviti, who keeps the number five jersey.

Jones has named an unchanged back row of Kanji Shimokawa (flanker), Kazuki Himeno (flanker), and Faulua Makisi, who starts at number eight to round out the forwards.

The half-back pairing sees one change. Naoto Saito retains his place as the starting scrum-half and will also captain the Brave Blossoms, while Nicolas McCurran replaces Harumichi Tatekawa at fly-half.

Siosaia Fifita and Dylan Riley remain as the centre pairing, unchanged from the Test match against France.

The back three sees one alteration, with Takuro Matsunaga replacing Malo Tuitama at full-back. He is joined by an unchanged wing pairing of Jone Naikabula and Tomoki Osada.

Jones has opted for a 5-3 split on the bench, making five changes to his replacements. Seunghyuk Lee (hooker), Yukio Morikawa (prop), and Keijiro Tamefusa (prop) are named as the front-row replacements, while Daichi Akiyama and try-scorer Tevita Tatafu are the back-five substitutes. Ben Gunter, Shinobu Fujiwara, and Yusuke Kajimura are available as back-line replacements if required.
