The Autumn Nations Series brought plenty of incredible tries across four rounds of compelling action.
From stunning solos to tremendous team tries, fans had it all as the northern and southern hemispheres went head-to-head.
But now it is time to whittle down the options and vote, as only one try can be crowned Try of the Series. Here’s your shortlist.
Lalakai Foketi v France
While Les Bleus may have pipped the Wallabies by a single point in the end, Lalakai Foketi’s stunning end-to-end try was undoubtedly one of the most memorable moments of Australia’s clash with France
Wing Tom Wright picked up the ball inside his own 22 before racing past Damian Penaud and feeding Jock Campbell, who set Foketi free to sprint through the middle and cap a stunning team score.
Rieko Ioane v England
Rieko Ioane was the fastest man in Twickenham, as the All Black produced a sublime show of speed to run 70 metres and crash over in the corner for New Zealand against England.
Ioane’s raw power gave the scrambling home defence no chance, but there was as much beauty in Beauden Barrett’s inch-perfect kick across field to find Caleb Clarke, who produced a wonderful lay-off for Ioane to race clear.
Kurt-Lee Arendse v England
Kurt-Lee Arendse is just seven matches into his international rugby career, but you would hardly think it with the way he confidently converted his try against England at Twickenham.
With the visitors leading 6-3 in a tight first half, Arendse was put clear by Willie le Roux before the wing produced a wonderful step to beat Marcus Smith and cross in the corner.
Ange Capuozzo v Australia
Italy sealed their first-ever win over Australia this autumn with a nail-biting 28-27 victory in Florence and had two outstanding Ange Capuozzo tries to thank.
Capuozzo produced the match-winning score late on with an excellent late run through the Australian rearguard, but his first-half effort was even more impressive.
The full-back’s ability to beat a man was in evidence as he dummied his way through to finish off the try, but just as impressive was the slick handling from the Italian backs to put Capuozzo through.
Cheslin Kolbe v Italy
South Africa earned a big win against Italy, running in nine tries in Genoa on the way to a 63-21 win.
Cheslin Kolbe’s score just after the restart was the pick of the bunch, as the wing showed a clean pair of heels to race onto Damian Willemse’s restart, claim the high ball, and score immediately from kick-off.
Santiago Carreras v England
Argentina recorded only their second-ever win over England at Twickenham in their opening Autumn Nations Series encounter and it was in large part to a two-try blitz in the second half.
After Emiliano Boffelli had gone over in the corner following a well-worked move off a lineout, fly-half Santiago Carreras showed his speed to get in for their second. Pouncing on a loose ball in the midfield, he scooped it up and then reminded everyone that he started his career on the wing as he raced away from the English covering defence.
Darcy Graham v Argentina
Scotland turned on the style at BT Murrayfield with a 52-29 victory over Argentina, and Darcy Graham gave a gilded edge to the win with a stunning final try to seal his hat-trick.
The wing had already dotted down once before half-time as Scotland powered past Los Pumas, and he fnished off his hat-trick in the closing stages.
The pick of the tries was his second though, capping a fine flowing move with an impressive finish in the corner.
Finn Russell made the difference early, as so often, going on an arcing run down the right before releasing Stuart Hogg with a lovely offload. The full-back then drew the final man before putting Graham away for his second try.
Naoto Saito v France
Japan’s Autumn Nations Series ultimately ended in two defeats to England and France, but there were plenty of highlights for the Brave Blossoms.
The standout moment was a brilliant breakaway try against Guinness Six Nations Grand Slam champions France, with Naoto Saito diving over after Shogo Nakano broke clear of the French defence and rampaged down the pitch from halfway.
Simione Kuruvoli v Ireland
Fiji fought hard despite defeat to Ireland, and Simione Kuruvoli’s consolation try brilliantly encapsulated their attacking flair.
An excellent break from Jiuta Wainiqolo allowed him to offload to onrushing Kuruvoli, whose excellent support line was rewarded as he dashed to the line to score.
Freddie Steward v New Zealand
England produced a stunning late comeback to draw with New Zealand at Twickenham, and Freddie Steward’s try was the pick of the hosts’ trio of late scores.
The full-back started the move, as he powered through two All Blacks tackles before popping up moments later to dart for the line and crash over in the corner to reduce the deficit to seven.
