Sam Prendergast
In just his second Six Nations start and first away Test, Sam Prendergast delivered an assured performance in the win against Scotland, excelling both from the tee—contributing 12 points—and in open play. He controlled the game with impressive precision and a maturity beyond his years.
His distribution was equally eye-catching, highlighted by a superb 25-metre pass to Calvin Nash in the build-up to Ireland’s opening try—one of the standout moments of the match.
Blair Murray
Despite Wales suffering a narrow 22-15 loss in Rome, there were a few strong performances that show things may turn around for Wales.
Scarlets back-three Blair Murray had a number of livewire moments during the game, with his Welsh side unable to convert a few of these opportunities into points.
Murray carried nine times, making over 51 metres and two clean line breaks that sliced through the Italian defence. Despite the biblical conditions in the Eternal City, Murray performed well under the high ball.
Fin Baxter
In a game where England snatched victory from the jaws of defeat to France, Fin Baxter played a crucial part. He smashed through the French scrum late on in the game to get England the penalty to bring them within touching distance of the try line. It was only right that he be the one to score what was his first England Test try in the process. A day to remember for the young prop.
They and others will be showcasing the potential to follow in the footsteps of legends like Sam Warburton, Ellie Kildunne, Sarah Hunter, and Johnny Sexton.
