While Guinness Six Nations glory is the ultimate target in any given Championship for England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, there is another famed accolade to play for – the Triple Crown.
Since the inaugural Championship in 1883, the Triple Crown – secured by beating all three of the other ‘Home Nations’ in a single Championship – has been won a total 71 times.
England leading the way with 26 Triple Crowns, while Ireland have added to their collection with their 12th and 13th triumphs in 2022 and 2023.
