England lifted the RBS 6 Nations trophy for the second successive year in Dublin despite losing 13-9 to a brilliant Irish performance, elsewhere Scotland claimed their third victory of the tournament and France snatched a late win against Wales in Paris.

In the official RBS 6 Nations Fantasy game, Scotland fly-half Finn Russell led the way as Round Five’s best player scoring 72.50 points as he starred in Scotland’s 29-0 win over Italy.

Russell, who picked up his second man of the match award of the tournament, touched down for the first try of the game which contributed half of his 14-point haul on the day.

Scotland contributed ten players to Round Five’s dream team including Tommy Seymour who scored 47.50 points, the second highest of the round, as well as backs Stuart Hogg, Alex Dunbar, Ali Price and Tim Visser.

Forwards Zander Fagerson, Jonny Gray and John Barclay all scored upwards of 30 points to feature in this week’s dream team while back row Hamish Watson cleared the 40-point mark after making 11 tackles in the victory over Italy.

Peter O’Mahony won man of the match at the Aviva Stadium after his powerful tackling and work in the loose and features alongside compatriots Tadhg Furlong and Iain Henderson in the Dream Team pack.

French captain Guilhem Guirado is the only non-Celt to feature after his dominant display in Les Bleus’ dramatic victory over Wales.

And Irishman Jared Payne completes the line up after making over 100 metres and beating four defenders in his side’s 13-9 victory in the final match of the RBS 6 Nations Championship.

Angus Keys had the best side for Round Five and it is easy to see why as he included top-scorer Russell as his captain as well as second top-scorer Dunbar in his team.
