For his seventh campaign in charge, former scrum-half Galthié welcomes back star Toulouse half-back pair Antoine Dupont and Romain Ntamack, as Les Bleus seek to claim their second title in four years.
Scrum-half Dupont spent much of last year sweeping all before him in the France Sevens jersey, ultimately claiming Olympic gold for his country on home soil. Fly-half Ntamack has endured a prolonged absence due to injury, and hasn't featured for his country since August 2023.
Intriguingly, Leinster prop Rabah Slimani, 35, has been named in the squad, having been on the verge of retirement before leaving Clermont to join the Irish giants.
