Gavin Henson will return to action in the Ospreys’ European Cup clash against Gloucester on Saturday.
The 25-year-old Wales and Lions centre has been sidelined since breaking a bone in his left hand during Ospreys’ Cup victory over Harlequins on December 2.
But he starts his comeback just 48 hours before Wales coach Warren Gatland announces his squad for this season’s RBS 6 Nations Championship.
Gatland will unveil the squad on Monday, the same day as Henson is due before Cardiff magistrates to answer a charge of disorderly conduct.
The charge arises from alleged incidents on a London to Cardiff train following Ospreys’ win against Harlequins six weeks ago.
Henson teams up with Sonny Parker in midfield, with Wales back-row forward Ryan Jones captaining an Ospreys side which also includes fit-again wing Shane Williams.
The Ospreys must beat Premiership leaders Gloucester at the Liberty Stadium to keep alive their hopes of a quarter-final place.
