Italy will be hoping to avenge last week's round one loss against Scotland in the 2025 Guinness Men's Six Nations, as they welcome Wales to the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
The team remains largely unchanged with just two changes across the 23-player squad. Benetton's Niccolò Cannone replaces Dino Lamb in the second row, and Jacopo Trulla is the new addition to the bench, as he replaces the injured Simone Gesi.
The match opens the second round of the 2025 Guinness Men's Six Nations Championship and will see the only match of the weekend between teams both defeated in the first round of matches.
Ready to come off the bench are Gianmarco Lucchesi and Luca Rizzoli – who after his debut at Murrayfield could collect his first appearance on the home turf of the Stadio Olimpico like Dino Lamb.
Marco Riccioni, Manuel Zuliani, Ross Vintcent, Alessandro Garbisi and Jacopo Trulla., are also named on the bench for Italy's clash versus Wales.
Italy has faced Wales on 33 occasions, winning 4 times and a draw, but they have not won at home against the Welsh since 2007, while they achieved two away successes in the last matches played at the Principality Stadium in 2022 and 2024.
