Harriet Millar-Mills returns at second-row for England Women as Scott Bemand makes one change to his starting XV for Friday’s Grand Slam decider against France Women in Vannes.

Bristol forward Millar-Mills, who scored twice in England’s opening 32-0 win over Scotland Women, starts in place of the injured Abbie Scott, while Poppy Cleall comes onto the bench in the only other change.

Bemand’s side can clinch a Grand Slam with victory at Stade de la Rabine but – although France lost 10-8 to Wales – a victory for Les Bleues will see them regain the title they last won in 2014 thanks to their superior points difference.

Amber Reed, player of the match in last week’s 20-13 win over Wales, continues at fly-half alongside double try-scorer Ceri Large and Bemand is confident his charges will make life difficult for the physical French women.

“We set a high bar for ourselves and we are where we wanted to be at this point in the tournament,” Bemand said.

“Our ambition is to go to France and win. France will step up their physicality. We’re ready for that but remember, they’ve got to deal with us.”
