Theo Attissogbé (France)
Theo Attisogbé’s first try of the evening broke the deadlock with the first quarter almost up. Antoine Dupont, seemingly out of options, put in a cross-field kick on an advantage play which found the Pau winger, allowing him to go over untouched.
Jamison Gibson-Park (Ireland)
James Lowe, a pivotal member of Ireland’s attack, took on England scrum-half Alex Mitchell and won the encounter convincingly.
Lowe quickly found scrum-half Jamison Gibson-Park in support, who stepped the last man, fullback Freddie Steward, to score a marvellous try.
Bundee Aki (Ireland)
Ireland powerhouse Bundee Aki, beat three English defenders on his way to scoring a crucial try for Ireland.
After being on the receiving end of a looping pass from Sam Prendergast, Aki smashed through England talisman Marcus Smith. Aki was then confronted by England’s Alex Mitchell and Tommy Freeman, but Aki’s strength proved too much for them, powering over in the corner, bringing the scores level (10-10).
Huw Jones (Scotland)
Huw Jones scored three top-class tries in Scotland’s win over Italy, but the best of all game from a piece of Darcy Graham magic.
Graham took the ball on his right wing, very little looked to be on for him. Cutting inside, he dodged three defenders and turned on the afterburners before passing to Jones, who scored to the wildly appreciative roars of the home crowd. A simply sensational piece of first-phase attack.
