Ospreys winger Nikki Walker has declared he intends to prove his worth to Scotland head coach Andy Robinson with a dominant display against Edinburgh today.
Despite scoring two tries in his last run-out for Scotland, against Canada 16 months ago, Walker has yet to add to his tally of 15 caps.
And the 28-year-old, who has been in flying form for the Ospreys this year scoring four tries in the Magners League, is determined to force his way back into the international scene.
“I have been playing well and I’m just waiting for that opportunity to play for Scotland,” said Walker, who was called up as a travelling reserve for the 16-12 defeat in Italy last week.
“Hopefully, I can show what I have been doing – playing consistently and I have been scoring tries. That is something Scotland have lacked.”
