The Women’s Six Nations is set to be broadcast exclusively on the BBC until 2025 after Six Nations Rugby confirmed an agreement in principle has been reached relating to all three Championships (Guinness Six Nations, Women’s Six Nations and Men’s Under-20s) in the UK market.
The BBC showed every game of the shortened 2021 Women’s Six Nations across its platforms, with the thrilling final between England and France broadcast live on BBC 2.
There will be unprecedented broadcast investment surrounding the Women’s Championship on the BBC, subject to contract, covering a four-year term starting in 2022 and ending after the 2025 Championships.
Six Nations Rugby also confirmed it has entered into exclusive discussions with BBC and ITV relating to the Guinness Six Nations and Men’s Under-20s, which you can read about here.
