Guinness Men’s Six Nations x Ryder Cup Experience Competition

  1. This is a joint promotion between: (i) Six Nations Rugby Limited, a company incorporated in Ireland (under company number 358420) registered at 1st Floor, Simmonscourt House, Simmonscourt Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, Republic of Ireland and which is tax resident in the United Kingdom where it is registered with company number FC037182 and whose business address is at Thomas House, 84 Eccleston Square, Pimlico, London SW1V 1PX (“SNRL”); and (ii) Ryder Cup Europe LLP (registered no: OC307452; registered office: Wentworth Drive, Virginia Water, Surrey GU25 4LX) (“RCE”) (together, the “Promoters”).

  2. This competition, which gives entrants the opportunity to win the prize set out in condition 8 below (the “Competition”), is open to residents of England, France, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales, excluding employees of SNRL and/or RCE, their associated companies and agencies, their immediate families or anyone else involved in the organisation or administration of the Competition. Entrants must be 18 or over at the time they enter the Competition. By entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the relevant prize(s). The Promoters may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition. The Promoters reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant if either has reasonable grounds to believe that such entrant has breached these Terms and Conditions or does not fulfil the eligibility criteria.

  3. For a chance to win, entrants must enter via submitting the Competition form that can be found across the Promoters’ social and digital (Web & App) channels, titled “The dream sporting weekend? Watch Wales v England on 15th March, followed by a round at The Twenty Ten Course at Celtic Manor on Sunday 16th March. Enter now for an epic weekend away!”.

  4. Entrants must provide the information requested on the entry form in order to enable fulfilment of the prize. The winner will be randomly selected by an independent third party (by way of random generation by Two Circles whilst on a call with an SNRL representative). There is a limit of one (1) entry to the Competition per person.

  5. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter the Competition and the winner will not be liable for any costs related to shipping.

  6. The Competition will run from 20:00 GMT on Sunday 9th February 2025 on to 22:00 GMT on Tuesday 25th February 2025. Any Competition entries received after the closing date are automatically disqualified.

  7. Only the winner of the prize will be contacted directly by SNRL on or before 17:00 GMT on 28th February 2025. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner using the details that were provided on the entry form. However, if the winner cannot be contacted, they will forfeit their prize.

  8. There is one (1) prize in total. The prize available to win is: (i) one (1) pair of (i.e. two (2)) tickets to Wales v England at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday 15th March 2025 (Kick-Off at 16:45 GMT) to be provided by SNRL; (ii) a round of golf at The Twenty Ten Course, Celtic Manor on Sunday 16th March 2025 (tee off time of 9:50 GMT) to be provided by RCE; and (iii) a travel and accommodation contribution of up to £1000 if the winner resides in the UK or up to €1000 if the winner resides outside of the UK (the “Contribution”), which the winner shall claim by way of reimbursement from the Promoters by Tuesday 8th April, subject always to the winner providing all relevant receipts or invoices in relation to the costs incurred for travel and/or accommodation only. The winner shall be responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation before claiming the Contribution. The Contribution is made in respect of the travel and accommodation for all weekend activities (not each component). The prize does not include insurance or personal expenses, or any other costs incurred in addition to the foregoing that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize, which are the responsibility of the winner. The winner will be responsible for ensuring that they and any person travelling with them are available to travel and hold valid passports, any necessary visas and travel documents on the relevant dates. The Promoters do not accept any responsibility if the winner is unable to take up the prize. All prizes shall be subject to availability and the Promoters reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to substitute any prize for an alternative prize if necessary.

  9. The prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash or resold. The use of the ticket prize is also subject to the applicable ticketing terms and conditions and any rules at the venue where the fixture is held. If the prize winner is unable to attend the fixture on Saturday 15th March or the round of golf on Sunday 16th March, they must notify SNRL by no later than the end of Thursday 6th March and must not transfer or sell any tickets for such fixture or experience to any other person.

  10. Each prize winner may be contacted to participate in publicity activities related to the Competition (but participation is optional). If the prize winner agrees to participate in any such publicity activities, the prize winner and their guests agree that the Promoters may, with prior consent of the prize winner and their guests, record, film and/or photograph their participation in all aspects of the relevant prize and exploit, and authorise third parties to exploit, such films, photographs or recordings in any media now known or hereafter invented in any part of the world and for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity, with no payment being due to the winner or their guests. The Promoters will, in due time, provide the winner with all the relevant information regarding this specific processing of personal data and request the winner’s consent before implementing said processing.

  11. Once a winner is selected, SNRL will email the winner directly to obtain their full address and phone number so delivery of the prize can be made. The winner must respond within five (5) days to SNRL and provide this information so the prize can be delivered. Should the winner not respond within the aforementioned deadline, SNRL will select another winner based on the procedure described herein.

  12. Proof of making an entry does not constitute proof of receipt by the Promoters and will not be accepted as a valid entry. Except as otherwise required by applicable law, the Promoters do not accept any entries which for technical or other reasons is unsuccessful, incomplete, lost, late, damaged, corrupted or misdirected. All decisions of the Promoters in respect of the Competition are final, including the awarding of any prize, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding any such decision.

  13. The Promoters must either publish or make available information that indicates a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, the Promoters will send the surname and country of the prize winner to anyone who emails [email protected] within ninety (90) days after the closing date of the Competition. If you object to any or all of your surname or country being published or made available, please contact SNRL. However, the Promoters must still provide this information in accordance with applicable laws when requested.

  14. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoters, including the Promoters’ shareholders, partners, affiliates, agents, employees, officers, directors and representatives, excludes liability for any direct, indirect or consequential losses, damages or claims incurred by any person in connection with the Competition or receipt, collection, enjoyment or misuse of any prize, the organisation of the Competition, if the Competition does not run as planned or if any part of the prize is unable to be delivered for any reason. Entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.

  15. If the Competition or any part of it is not capable of running or being completed as planned for any reason, including but not limited to reasons of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoters, the Promoters reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition without liability.

  16. By participating in the Competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by, and are deemed to have read and understood, these Terms and Conditions.

  17. If any provision contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be prohibited by law or adjudged by a court to be unlawful, void or unenforceable such provision shall, to the extent required, be severed from these Terms and Conditions and rendered ineffective as far as possible without modifying the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, and shall not in any way affect the validity or enforcement of the remaining Terms and Conditions.

  18. This Competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Competition.

  21. You will have the option to opt in to receive marketing emails from SNRL and RCE. If you do not opt in, the SNRL and/or RCE will only contact you in connection with the organisation or administration of the Competition, including if you are selected as a winner in order to facilitate fulfilment of the prize. If you choose to opt in, your information shall be securely stored in accordance with the SNRL Privacy Policy or the Ryder Cup Privacy Policy (under the heading ‘Ryder Cup Europe Privacy Notice’), as applicable.
