England boosted their bid for a first Six Nations Under-20s title since 2017 with a bonus-point 31-12 victory over Scotland that made it two wins from two.
Alan Dickens’ men produced a brilliant second-half comeback to stun France 38-22 in their first clash of the 2021 Championship, but they were on it from the off back at Cardiff Arms Park as Jack van Poortvliet dotted down after just two minutes.
Tries from Fin Smith and Deago Bailey helped the Red Rose to a 19-5 lead by the break – with Christian Townsend responding for the Scots – while Sam Riley added a fourth shortly after the restart.
Scotland notched a second try through Ollie Leatherbarrow after Lucas Brooke was sent off for England, but Arthur Relton crashed over soon after to seal the five points for the three-time Grand Slam winners.
