What’s your coffee of choice? I don’t drink coffee so I always get a tea or hot chocolate, but I can only have hot chocolate at night because it makes me sleepy.
What are you watching on TV at the moment? I’ve just finished a series called One Day. Everyone was watching it so I decided to as well. Everyone cried, but I didn’t. It was pretty random.
Who would you like to write a book about your life? My mum or my sister. It would be so funny! They know everything about my life and would tell it from funny perspective.
What song would be the soundtrack to your career highlights? Me and my dad always sing Dreams by Gabrielle in the car so maybe that!
Who’s your best mate in rugby? That’s a really hard question. I have a list: Lagi Tuima, Robbo [Emily Robinson] and Ellie Kildunne from Quins. Sadia Kabeya and Maud Muir at England.
Where do you call home? Home is in Wales with my mum and family. It’s funny how upset my mum gets when I say Guildford is home! I’ve been there a long time. In Wales, everyone knows everyone. I speak to Meg Jones about it all the time. Where I'm from, you have to drive 20 minutes to the nearest shop. There are no Uber or food deliveries! But it’s quiet and close-knit. Guildford is the opposite: there is so much more to do.
What’s your ideal holiday destination? Japan. I’ve always wanted to go there because of the culture but also the cherry blossom trees.
If you could travel back to any period in time, when would it be? I’d quite like to go back to when ballroom dancing was more prominent at parties. Maybe the Bridgerton era? I’m not sure anyone would expect that from me.
If you wanted to be remembered for anything, what would it be? Being thoughtful and kind.
What’s the hardest thing about being a rugby player? That’s a very hard question... For me, probably the mental side of the game. The expectation and the build-up going into camps and games.
And what’s the best thing about it? The friends I’ve made.
Which teammate would be your ideal backpacking companion? From Quins, Emily Robinson. She would look after me! I don’t think I’m much of a backpacker – she’d get me through. From England, Sadia. We’d have fun. Never run out of things to talk about. If it was Maud, we would get lost! She’d take so much stuff that she’d weigh us down. She’d probably have 18 bags!
