What’s your coffee of choice?
If I had to pick, probably a decaf vanilla iced latte, but I don’t really drink coffee!
What are you watching on TV at the moment?
A Netflix series, One Day. It’s an absolute banger that made me cry. Everyone is talking about it right now. I’ve just finished it and I’m probably going to watch it over again!
Who would you like to write a book about your life?
I don’t really read in-depth things but growing up I really liked to read any Jacqueline Wilson book. If I was to read now, it would probably be Tracy Beaker so I’m going to say Jacqueline Wilson.
Who’s your best mate in rugby?
At club, Christine Belisle – a Scottish prop. We just get along like a house on fire. With England, probably Lucy Packer and Alex Matthews. I wouldn’t repeat that to Alex though!
Where do you call home?
Loughborough has really become a home for me at the moment. I’ve been there for three seasons now, I live there, do my uni there and most of my friends are there. But I’m London born and raised so I would say that if my mum was reading this!
How would you describe those places to someone who’s never been there?
Loughborough is a ghost town apart from the students! It’s a big bubble and I love it; everyone loves it. In London, Crystal Palace is what you would think. There is a lot of buzz around and everyone knows each other because of school and parents knowing parents.
What’s your ideal holiday destination?
Anywhere hot! I love to get a tan. Probably a Maldives all-inclusive. I
If you could travel back to any period in time, when would it be?
Whenever the disco era was. When everyone used to dress in disco clothes and had big afros. I would love the style and vibe; I’d love going disco dancing every Friday.
If you wanted to be remembered for anything, what would it be?
It’s clichéd but just being myself. Coming into such a huge environment as an international and not trying to be a robot, trying to fit in. Just do what I do on a normal day-to-day basis.
What’s the hardest thing about being a rugby player?
The toll it takes on your body. It’s a hugely physical game with loads of contact and the day of a big match you feel it, but it means you’ve played well.
And what’s the best thing about it?
Definitely the social side and the friends you make. I’ve made lifelong friends in the Red Roses camp who I never would have met in my day-to-day life being at home. They are friendships that rugby has given me.
Which teammate would be your ideal backpacking companion?
I’m going to say Lucy Packer. I would enjoy my time backpacking with her. Would she be the most savvy? Probably not! She’s a very smart girl but if we were to come into contact with something quite dangerous we’d probably be quite useless but I’d have a good time with her.
