Now ranked sixth in the world, Scotland’s winning streak is up to seven games after an heroic victory at the Cardiff Arms Park - their first on Welsh soil in 20 years.
Meanwhile, the superb try by wing Coreen Grant, Player of the Match on the weekend, has been nominated for Try of the Round, while fly-half Helen Nelson is among the Player of the Round nominees.
A missed conversion from Wales saw them edge home 20-18 in Cardiff, and since finishing last year’s campaign with wins over Italy and Ireland, the Scots have been riding a wave, winning WXV 2 and making huge strides under head coach Bryan Easson.
"In the first half, we didn't take the chances we had but we spoke at half-time about squeezing more out of ourselves and we did in the second half," said Easson. "We deserved that victory."
"In the second half, we managed that particularly well. Seven wins in a row is phenomenal, this is a special group. We've had some tough times but we knew something was coming. There's still a lot to work on but we'll just keep growing."
