After a well-earned fortnight’s break, the Women’s Six Nations is back this weekend as the Championship hots up with narratives aplenty in Round Three.
Unbeaten Italy host Ireland and France welcome Scotland on a bumper Saturday evening of action, all before table toppers England’s trip to Wales on Sunday.

Italy v Ireland – Saturday, February 23 (kick-off 6:45pm)
With one win and a draw to their name in the opening rounds of the Championship, an impressive Italy side will be desperate not to complete a full set of results with defeat to Ireland.
They came within feet of victory against Wales in Lecce last time out, but Michela Sillari’s last-minute kick fell agonisingly short – a score they’ll look to settle in Parma.
Ireland, on the other hand are riding the crest of a wave after they rebounded up from a difficult opening day defeat to England to topple Scotland on the road, a performance they’ll look to repeat in Emilia-Romagna.

France v Scotland – Saturday, February 23 (kick-off 9:00pm)
Two sides who will be smarting after Round 2 defeats, both France and Scotland have had two weeks to put things right ahead of this crunch fixture.
France’s rallying second-half performance wasn’t enough to snatch victory in England, while Scotland have been unlucky not to get more from their opening two fixtures after a pair of solid displays.
The Saturday evening kick off promises much in northern France, with the Stadium Lille Metropole likely to be packed for the privilege.

Wales v England – Sunday, February 24 (kick-off 12:30pm)
Victory for France on Saturday night could well see them return to the top of the pile ahead of England’s clash in the Welsh capital the following day.
If so, the pressure will be on the Red Roses to respond in adverse conditions, with a Wales side well-deserving of their draw in Italy last time out readying themselves for a battle.
And with kick off perfectly timed around Sunday lunch, a trip down to Cardiff Arms Park certainly seems a tempting prospect to close out the weekend’s action.
